Sports Sundays: Girls on the Run 5K 6.9.12
This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of shooting the Girls on the Run 5K race at Soldier Field sponsored by McDonald's. There were over 10000+ girls and sponsors that ran the race despite of the hot weather conditions. Girls on the Run is a program that runs through the Chicagoland area and their mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
