A week and a half ago I was honored to photograph and witness 34,369 runners finish in the world's largest timed 8k race. For the first time, the Event Alert System was GREEN Low=good conditions! The past few years, weather conditions were either freezing cold or raining, but this year it was perfect. There were so many happy faces and I am almost sure lots of PR's were broken. Here are some of the shots I took at the race.
Wheelchair Winner
Male Winner: Abdelaaziz Atmani
3rd Place Male Winner: Abdi Abdirahman

Since the Shamrock Shuffle kicks off the training for the Chicago Marathon October 7, 2012, good luck to those who are running. Train hard and it will pay off at the end. See you at the finish line!
