First Bites Bash - Kick off to Restaurant Week

  A week and a half ago I attend the 1st Annual First Bites Bash.  The event is sponsored by United Airlines and hosted by my favorite chef Stephanie Izard. Proceeds will be given to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. This bash kicks off Chicago's Restaurant Week which begins Feb 17th - 26th. I have restaurants all lined up starting tomorrow.  I cannot wait to take photos of all the yummy food, so stay tune for reviews and pics. Here are some of the pics I took at the First Bites Bash.  I did not take too many pics, since I wanted to enjoy the event with my bf.  I also forgot my flash, so only a few of my pics turned out.

Here is Dale (Top Chef Season 3) representing Sprout. I got him to sign my Top Chef Book. Check out this blog post about my adventure at Sprout. He said he remembered me...LOL!  I was the crazy customer that insisted he come out of the kitchen to take a picture with me and my friend. What can I say, I am a big fan of him and Top Chef.
